Fortitude is the strength of the character's resistance to change. More Fortitude reduces Damage taken per round and makes it harder to affect the character, both physically and magically.
Some would object to even considering this a Discipline since it doesn't give you any abilities and cannot be activated, but it is a power of the Vampiric blood and most easily grouped with the Physical Disciplines.
Effect in Combat
Fortitude both adds to your Defense and allows you to resist the Aggravated status as many times per combat as you have levels.
This means that at level 2 you can participate in 2 rounds of combat whose damage apply the Aggravated status without being affected, thereafter it takes hold normally.
