Dementation is the Discipline of madness, of weakening the mind and allowing forth what hides below, be it emotion or something stranger.
Powers
Level 1
Weaken Control
You softly weaken the victims self-control for a short while, making them more likely to act impulsively or lose control over The Beast.
Echoing Panic
When you are in trouble you instinctively send out a call for help. Mystically it always reaches the people willing and best able to help you and informs them of where you are and what the trouble is.
Level 2
The Haunting
If you have more Willpower than your victim you make them less able to disregard shadows moving in the corner of their eye, strange sounds in the night, and generally more prone to being disconcerted.
Eyes of Chaos
You can sometimes intuit information that you couldn't know from unrelated facts, but just as often these intuitions are just your imagination so you will need to verify before acting on them. Be very careful about using this ability, if uncertain ask the affected player for permission.
Level 3
Confusion
If you have more Willpower than your victim you daze and muddle their mind, making it impossible for them to reason coherently or even clearly remember. This state makes them suggestible, but beware that they remember what has happened when their mind clears (although they may not think of it immediately).
Eroding Presence
With a slow application over at least a week you can start to break down the very firmaments of a victims mind; possibly changing their personality, core convictions and philosophies.
Level 4
Voice of Madness
You speak, or perhaps shout, a phrase and all your targets will less Willpower than you lose their minds (enter Frenzy or Rötshreck based on what you said and personality). To try to use it on specific targets use a phrase specific to the targets by referencing backstory or active plots they are involved with, but expect that anyone who feels targeted may be affected.
Delirious Sight
By letting your grip on reality slip you can see the truth of the world. You enter a state of delirium where reality doesn't seem real or interesting to you, and you instead focus on how you perceive the deeper truth of the universe. This allows you to see invisible things, including spirits and magic, at the cost of being patently insane and probably needing help to not walk into walls.
This power doesn't end unless you convince yourself that reality is real and where you need to live, even though you now know that it is a farce compared to the truth of the world.
