Auspex

Auspex is the Mental Discipline of perception. At the lower levels it gives you control over ones own perception, allowing one to see more of the world, even things normally unseen. At the higher levels it begins to give control over the perception of others.

Powers

Level 1: Aura perception

Your senses expand into the mystical and you become able to perceive Auras. In effect this allows you to see:

• If a target is Mortal, Ghoul, Kindred, or some other kind of supernatural creature.
• The targets current main emotion.

Level 2: An ear for Lies

Where some have learned how to discern lying by body movements this power perfects that art by seeing how the aura moves, if it shifts as they are quickly coming up with lies or gains a tinge of worry of being found out.

Level 3: Soulsight

Your ability to interpret Auras has risen to such heights that you can discern surface level thoughts, especially of mortals.

Kindred are more resistant, but if you have more Willpower than your target you can discern the reason for their current main emotion.

Level 4: Telepathy

You are able to connect your mind to another, but only very shallowly. Both parties are aware of the connection and either side can transmit any or all things they currently perceive to the other. The connection is broken when either party loses consciousness or when the side with more Willpower breaks it.

Notably this connection makes both parties count as present and having eye contact with each other, enabling remote use of Mental Disciplines for both of them.

While it isn't possible to directly transfer an internal monologue, speaking to oneself is a quick and easy workaround.
